The Griot

“The Griot” is a 30inch necklace and work of art. Created from a rich mixture of materials including Kente Krobo Beads, Vintage Tonal Venetian Skunk Eye beads, African Trade beads and highlighted by 3 substantial West African Brass beads. 
This specific piece entails a few different approaches to necklace work. The miniature bracelets at the base and cotton fountain that finishes the piece are time consuming techniques but what they add to this piece makes all the difference
