PAVONIS

“PAVONIS” is Latin for “The Peacock”. This beautiful 34inch necklace is created from a multitude of of beads from brass, stone, & bone. 
The use of color, specifically the color red, known to be the oldest color for humans… is seen as a blessing of prosperity. All of the colors used for this piece reminded me of  peacocks and all the different places I’ve seen them..from a beach in Puerto Vallarta to a market in Manila (Phillipinnes), these beautiful & exotic creatures have popped up in my life at different moments when I least expected and they always make me smile.
